Introducing Karen...
My name is Karen Barlow and I live with my husband Justin and my two children. I got into Scrapbooking just after my son was born 11 years ago as I wanted to record all the precious moments in a meaningful and aesthetically pleasing way. I didn’t just want to have a photo album, I wanted to share the story behind the photos. I have made some amazing friendships over the years crafting alongside like-minded people and now it’s such an integral part of my life, its progressed way beyond the hobby stage!
I joined Close to my Heart (CTMH) in 2015 when I was struggling to find good quality Scrapbooking products easily. Being a qualified teacher, it seemed natural to start teaching classes to pass on my knowledge and passion for Scrapbooking and papercrafts. Card-making classes shortly followed to satisfy the demand for other crafters. I run my business from home in Leamington, Cambridge and have a classroom and small shop.
